First one is story_arc Everyone has seen the various prompt communities. This one is for the writing/drawing of story arcs, or a multi-chaptered fic/picture series. Using the prompts, you work all of them into a single universe, as series of stories or artwork that relate to each other. Or, alternatively, into a single story, each prompt being used for a single chapter. To some, that'll be easy. To others, it's a lot more challenging. You get a pick of prompts, and we welcome claims of all types. Pairings, threesomes/moresomes, single people, over all fandoms. Collaborations are welcomed, though we request that both parties join the com. The second is mix_n_make Everyone has that song that reminds them of a person, a fandom, a story or art idea just waiting to come forth. Well, here at Mix n Make, we not only share that feeling, we encourage you to make the image in your brain a reality. The goal: Make a playlist and write/draw what each song inspires of you. They can be as short as three songs, or as long as you want to make them. Not only can you share your favorite songs, but you can get those bunnies out of your brains and shared with the rest of us. This title also depended heavily on war stories, but not quite as heavily as Warlord. They do however make the covers. ( Neither snow, nor rain, nor oncoming German attack... ) ( Sci-Fi writers have no sense of timescale ) At this point, there was a one-page gag strip entitled "Cap'n Hand and his Mutinous Band." It was so mediocre even by the standard of gag strips that I have opted out of showing it. ( Good thing he's got climbing skills to fall back on ) ( Captured by furries! ) ( War is terribly inconvenient ) ( Rally 'round the flag, boys ) ( The Adventures of Cowboy Pilot ) ( The British Government's secret experiments with twelve-year-old super-soldiers continue. ) Your thoughts, gentlefolk? Monster: "You can see it..." [14 Nov 2009|12:27pm] scans_daily [grazzt] Since it seems like a few people are making "last" posts to commemorate the move, I figured I might as well join in. And since it's my last post at InsaneJournal, why not take the material from the final volume of Monster? Of course, in a series as full of twists and turns as this one is, you could argue that most scans would be a)inexplicable to people who haven't been following along and are not in possession of some sort of flowchart and/or b) massive spoilers for the entire series.
