This was originally written for ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ff7_oldschool-community at LJ, and deals with how 99,9 % of fandom has no idea how to write Cloud. Note that this essay is based on Cloud's character as he was in the original game, though Advent Children is heartlessly criticized mentioned a couple of times.
