I got my assignment for femslash07 a while ago, which intimidated me first, but I think I can handle it. But now, a couple of words to my writer.


I want to thank you for taking part in this challenge, and being willing to try out the fandoms that I requested. This alone makes me a very happy person, and I'm sure that your story will make me very happy once I get to read it. This is also why I hope that you don't stress yourself over this, and write what feels best for you. I'm not particularly picky, but there are some notes that I would like to make about some of my requests.

Buffyverse: Buffy/Faith is probably my ultimate femslash OTP, and I love all forms of the pairing. If you go with this pairing, the only thing I really wish for is that it would be from Buffy's POV, as most Buffy/Faith seems to focus on Faith, and I'd like to see some insight to Buffy's feelings for once. All the other pairings are newer interests for me, so pretty much anything goes with them, although I would prefer if Tara got a happy ending, even if the story is dark.

Grey's Anatomy: Christina/Meredith is the most interesting pairing for me in this fandom, and the one I've seen much a lot less compared to the other pairings. I also love Bailey a lot as a character and would like to see something smutty with her. In fact, smut is the word for me in this entire fandom, but if you're not into that, write whatever feels comfortable for you. I prefer no angst for this fandom.

Final Fantasy IX: Ever since I first played FFIX I've been dying to see some Beatrix/Freya, and I haven't seen much fic for that pairing. My preferred setting would be after Beatrix switches sides and before the entire team reunites after Brahne's death. With Dagger/Mikoto I would like to see some non-angsty bonding over Zidane (non-angsty in sense that Dagger's life hasn't stopped because of his apparent death), although any scenario goes with them.

I don't have anything specific in mind with my other chosen fandoms, so I'm basically open for anything. Also, you are free to ignore all my suggestions if they don't work for you. Write as you are inspired.

My tastes vary a lot, but although I tend to have a certain liking for darkfic, fluff and comedy are also alright with me. I like it when the characters are a little angry and bitter with each other and still care, and I like it when the more inexperienced or seemingly softer character turns out to be the active and aggressive one. I like smut, but I also like tender first time kisses and hand-holding, both tension and comfortable silences. I don't like it when canon relationships are ignored or mutilated, or if any characters are unnecessarily villainized. I have no problems with AU, but I'd prefer it if the basics of the AU can be seen in the canon as well.
